Kynar Kynar PVDF compound is an economical alternative to teflon tubing for applications not requiring heat resistance. Kynar possesses excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals. the high purity material is the ideal tubing for a variety of applications requiring an odorless and tasteless tube.
Weld Spatter Resistant Weld-Spatter Resistant tubing is made by taking blue Fre-Thane 95A durometer polyurethane and jacketing it with a specially formulated weld-spatter resistant cover. The result is a jacketed tube that is safe from incidental contact with weld spatter. The outer cover base resin meets UL94VO requirements and offers strong insulating properties. It also resists oils, greases, acids, bases, aqueous solutions, ozone, heat, aging, and ultraviolet light. The cover is approximately .030" thick and does not adhere to the inner tube, allowing the jacket to be easily skived back for fitting connection with conventional compression or push-in fittings. A special jacket trimming tool is available for easy skiving.
Multi-Colored Ribbon MCR Multi-Colored ribbon tubing is a bonded ribbon of multi colored Fre-Thane polyurethane tubing. Any time that you are routing two or more lines, MCR is the way to go. It offers faster installation times and eliminates the need for spiral wrap or jacketing.
Static Dissipative Polyurethane Static electricity is a stationary charge of electricity resting on an object's surface. With plastic tubing, the charge is generated usually by friction on the exterior of the tubing. The charge is typically localized. This means that a charge may exist on one part of the tube but not the entire tube. The spotty nature of the charge makes it much harder to detect. Furthermore, humans can only sense electrostatic discharge (ESD) greater than 3,500 electrostatic volts. A charge as low as 100 ESD volts can damage certain circuits meaning that electronics can be destroyed by ESD without the person even knowing it.
Multi Bore Polyurethane Multi Bore tubing is produced using Fre-Thane polyurethane in a single extrusion. Unlike MCR, it is made in one extrusion which means the tube can only be made in a single color. Unlike MCR, Multi bore can't be separated cleanly and should not be used with push-in fittings.
PVC Jacketed Bundles Freelin-Wade's PVC jacketed Bundles are an excellent way to color code a pneumatic system in a neat package. Ten colors of Fre-Thane 85A polyurethane are jacketed with clear flexible PVC. Two popular sizes are available. Save time over spiral wrapping or tie wrapping with this jacketed bundling method. Ask about the variety of variation possibilities. These include bundling wire, different tube sizes, tube material, colors and coiling.
Expandable Webbing Expandable Webbing can expand up to three time its minimum size. The webbing is made from an open weave polyester sleeve that allows heat and humidity to escape easily. Expandable Webbing is flexible and easy to install. Available in black.
Spiral Wrap Spiral Wrap is made from a spiral cut of low density polyethylene material. It easily wraps around tubing and wiring assembles securing contents against abrasion. is also allows for easy branching of contents. |
